Parker Audio Trog
The Parker Audio Trogs are a newly designed sub system that
is designed to augment the bass output of smaller bookshelf speakers like the
Trolls, and systems that may need the help of some added bass response. The
system utilizes a 7" woofer with a
sandwiched
pure aluminum cone. This rigid cone structure mated with the powerful motor
produce deep clean articulate bass in a nice tidy package! The low end response
of these subs extend down to the 30Hz range. This is achieved by using a tuned
port system. The system can be used with a single sub, or you may opt for a
stereo pair to produce added bass response. These subs are designed to be used
with an outboard amplifier of your choice. There are many "plate" type amps
on
the market that will drive these very well. Some of these "plate" amps offer
remote capability which enable the listener to dial the gain and crossover
frequency in from their listening position. You can also use a mono or stereo
amplifier with a suitable crossover to drive these subs. These are the same
subs that are used in the Highly acclaimed Crusader speakers.
