Parker Audio's latest offering for the Zen series of amplifiers!  This is the Model 98.   The 98 offers a richer and more dynamic sound than any speaker previously available for the Zen series of amps.

The kits consist of the following:  Four Custom manufactured 6.5" cast frame woofers with paper cone and treated textile surround.  To say these drivers are quick would be a gross understatement!!  These are mated to a modified Fostex horn loaded tweeter.  Rounding out the kit are a set of 5 way binding posts.

This system is unrivaled at its price point for dynamics and sheer musicality.  As holds true with the 95 MKII kit this system will provide the DIYer with the satisfaction of having put a world class speaker system together for a fraction of the cost of commercially available systems.

The Model 98 will work best in a vented configuration, but as with any kit, experimenting with different cabinet types and volumes are always an option.  The cabinet configuration I offer is a   vented design.  The cabinet volume for this kit is optimal at 1.25 cubic feet.  At this volume the optimal port is 3" in diameter and 1.5" long. The system specs for this setup are 96 db efficient, 2 ohm impedance and a frequency response of 40-40khz.
